Warm Weather Tips
The warm weather is upon us so here are some warm weather tips for your pet to have a safe summer.
Never leave your pet in the car on a warm day, even if it’s just for a short time. The temperature inside a car on a 60 degree day can reach as high as 110 degress. Pets can’t sweat like humans can and it doesn’t take long inside a hot car for an animal to reach a hyperthermic level. Take your pet to the vet immediately if you see signs of hyperthermia such as heavy panting, lethargy, dark tongue, rapid pulse, fever, vomiting, gazed eyes or dizziness.
Remember to have plenty of water availiable!
Have a safe and fun summer!
